I had my first clubs before I could even walk!!
(eh yes I did not take my first steps before 15 months...)
For my 2nd birthday, my dad bought Cleveland clubs for me.
The white series are for the ages 3-5.
They look just like the clubs the adults use.
Their only problem is their weight, especially the putter which was very heavy for me.
But, I still make use of it today, even if it is too short, but my dad says to me that that enables me to be in a good position for my arms to make a triangle.
I am still also using my small iron 7/8 to make small approaches. It is very precise and now I find it light.
As I ate much soup and grew to 1m 18 at age 4 years and a few months. I had Wilson clubs with a Wilson super bag.
But as they for the 6-8 years they are clubs were too large, my dad cut them down, but the grips were a little large also...thus for the moment I kept them in the bag...
Always according to my dad, the best solution was to have clubs made to fit me. For my 5th birthday (but 2 months before) I had clubs ordered on the website www.francegolffitting.com
They are not bad!! I have a Sandwedge (a real one) an Iron 9 - 7 - 5 (which I prefer) a Wood 5 and one Driver.
Now the shafts are too soft for the speed of my swing (70/75 Mph), it has been hard to find golf equipment suited for kids.
Using the reference colors in this table from US KID'S helped find the right fit.
Here are some pictures of my gear and equipment now that I have finally found some good clubs. Tour serie de US KID'S:
They are not easy to find in France, but the US KID'Sare really the best clubs for kids and they have a large selection of models.
If you need help finding them, please contact vincent (from Tom;-)) he can tell you where to find them near you
For my 5th birthday I got a golf cart! A REAL ONE!!! with 4 mufflers!!!
It is "an old" golf cart which my dad and his friend Akly made for me.
It is same color as my dads car!!
They made me pass the golf cart license.
